The Emotional (Sensitivity) Cycle
The Emotional Cycle of 28 days duration is instrumental in determining our emotional responses to everyday situations; our mood swings. Awareness of this cycle both in ourselves and in others can lead to improved relationships.
During the first half of the cycle (days 1 through 14) there is a tendency to be cheerful and have a positive, optimistic outlook on life. Our interaction with others, being largely dependant upon our own individual personality is more confident, assertive and positive. However, some people are more naturally flamboyant and extrovert than others.
During the second half of the cycle (days 15 through 28) we are apt to become somewhat less expressive and perhaps a little withdrawn; prone to a more pessimistic viewpoint, more introspective and perhaps sad.
As in each of the three cycles there are "critical days" and in the Emotional Cycle these are days 1 and 15 which in this instance infers a tendency to emotional outbursts; loss of calm; or a lack of confidence in our ability to relate to others.
Whereas our Physical and Intellectual cycles can be regarded as a constant and easily assessable areas of Biorhythm where most people react in a similar way at a specific phase, the same cannot be said for the Emotional cycle deals with sensitivity.
Some people are more sensitive than others; some are more assertive and outgoing or by nature more "the glass is half full" rather than "the glass is half empty". Through your own study of your personal Biorhythm you will begin to identify which phase is best suited to your own personality and sensitivity. Then, through Biorhythm Control you will be in a position to utilise the different phases to your advantage.
Your appreciation of the effects of the Emotional Cycle will also give you an insight into the sensitivity of others, this enabling you to nurture and improve relationship.
